Fusewireless SUCKS

I am writing to inform every reader not to buy anything from Fuse Wireless. They sux. Royally. Big time.

I was comparing prices for Sidekick II last May of 2005 and I would have gone with DeafBuy.com if not for FuseWireless' offer for "free Sidekick II after rebates". They did not show me the rebates - a warning sign. After I purchased the Sidekick II, they showed me the rebates. And they expired like few days before.

After thousands of emails to Fuse, I got sucky customer support with repetitive explanations from my side that I got ripped off. They told me to send out those two rebates anyway. And they got rejected. DUH. Then the latest - they told me the rebate company went bankrupt and they would pay my rebate to me. I even threatened to contact BBB. Fuse has NO phone number, NO mailing address, or anything. Only BBBonline has that information. It is a year ago. And guess what I got in the email today? An ad from FuseWireless. WHAT A JOKE.

"Remember…. You can always count on Fuse Wireless for the lowest prices on the hottest pagers. And don’t forget… you can shop with confidence on our 100% secure website.

You must Hurry! We only have a very few Sidekick II’s left at this low price. Don’t miss your chance!

P.S. Don’t be tricked by other companies that charge you a high upfront cost and make you mail in two or three confusing rebates. We have the lowest upfront cost around. Log onto www.fusewireless.com today and get yours!"

Wow. What BS. "Dont be tricked by other companies..." I am already tricked by FuseWireless with three rebates and I never got anything in return at all (except for one but it was thru T-Mobile, very reputable company).

That's terrible. Custumer no-service is a very discouraging thing.

Have you thought of calling someone like Clark Howards team? (clarkhoward.com). As you may know, he does a radio show that helps consumers "Save more, spend less and avoid getting ripped off." They give free advise when you call them, and on his show, they follow up with companies like Fusewireless for people like you. They usually get results too!

It might be worth your while to give them a call and see what they say.

Yeah I could. But basically, this was over a year ago, and Im feeling a sense of resignation. I'll file with the BBBonline when I have time.

Name's Don Cullen.

Wish I saw your blog post sooner. I fell for their scam today and shelled out $300, thinking I was only shelling out $99. They claimed to have instant rebates, then at the end of the order process, said "You have to mail in the rebates." I clicked on both forms, one was for $100, one for $50. I clicked on both, both were for $50. I emailed their customer services demanding that my order be cancelled. But after seeing your blog post, I'm getting a sinking feeling that I won't get a response from them.

So, here's what I'm going to do. Or already did. I did some checking, and found out they're illegally using BBB's seal, meaning, they're not members of BBB.

I emailed BBBOnline to report this already.

I will be filing a complaint with BBBOnline and their parent company BBB. If you also do this at the same time then we'll have increased chance of getting justice and ending their scamming practices.

Feel free to contact me at doncullen at gmail dot com. Not linked to avoid spam. :-P

Regards,
Don Cullen
